Taco pepper ingredients

Step 1: Gather all of your ingredients

 

Ingredients

4 Peppers (any color you wish)

1 lb of ground beef (or any other type you wish)

1/2 medium sized onion chopped

Taco seasoning (low-carb, homemade version)

1 cup sour cream 

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional accompaniments: salsa, sliced avocado, tomatillo sauce, chopped jalapeno, chopped cilantro

Step 2: Brown your ground beef, saute onion, add taco seasoning and lastly, mix in sour cream

 

Step 3: Stuff ground beef into peppers and top with cheddar cheese

Step 4: Cover peppers and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes

Directions 

  1. Cut and clean peppers
  2. Preheat oven to 350°
  3. Brown beef in pan, add onions and taco seasoning
  4. Mix well allow onions to saute
  5. Add sour cream and mix together with meat
  6. Stuff the peppers and top with shredded cheddar cheese
  7. Cover baking pan
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes (depending on your preference for softer vs al dente peppers)
  9. Add optional accompaniments you’d like
  10. Enjoy!
