One of my favorite finds was while I was at Whole Foods in Tucson, Arizona on vacation. While there I met this lovely woman who was showcasing her crackers. These crackers are paleo, gluten free, grain free, soy free, corn free, dairy free, vegan and low carbohydrate! I can’t tell you how excited I was to find this treasure. In fact, the Los Angeles Times calls the crackers, “..our favorite.” We immediately bought several containers to take home with us to Florida, as we don’t have a Whole Foods near us. Shortly after getting home and finding that we had gobbled our supply up, we went online and purchased more crackers. These crackers are so perfect for so many things, such as dips and spreads, can even replaces flour in many high carb recipes.
10 crackers are a mere 5 net carbohydrates. Another plus? This company was founded by a woman who has guts, tenacity, persistent, perseverance, grit and overall awesomeness! So how could I not love and support her mission? Thanks Jil for your crackerz!
It all began in 2013 when Jill went looking for a healthy snack for her gluten intolerant husband. Unable to find anything that was crunchy and tasty with few ingredients, she created a simple nutritious recipe and started baking it at home. Ron loved it and so did their friends.
